Thanks to TerraCycle, a New Jersey company for contributing towards saving the earth from growing landfills creating a mess across the globe. The company is known for its manufacturing a line of 100 percent recycled liquid plant fertilizers.
You pitch a plastic Coke bottle into the trash, with its future heading for landfill. But, things would be no more the same. These could be found back on a store shelf, filled with worm waste and ready to be sold a second time. The bottles displayed in the racks of a store next time, will carry a bright yellow TerraCycle label, advertising the organic plant fertilizer inside.
“In the Western world, it’s the first product made from waste,” said spokesman Barry Brinster. “The more of it we make, the less waste there is.”
