Circuit table made out of discarded motherboards makes a green statement!

Circuit Table by Chris Harrison
Environmentalists and gizmo freaks will surely love the new Circuit coffee table made by Chris Harrison, that is crafted from joining several old motherboards in a neat manner underneath a glass top – creating a brilliant concept table that recycles waste motherboards in a brilliant fashion. The ‘green’ design looks amazing and would be a great addition to spark up any living space.

Circuit Coffee Table
The idea of the ‘circuit coffee table’ was more coincidental than planned. The motherboard design was actually meant for a wall project undertaken by Harrison for an organization called DevLab – in which he had constructed a huge single wall crafted out of four panels of motherboards joined together. That was another very clever and innovative way to utilize redundant material into something very unique and stylish for office decor. However, the office got shifted to the ground floor, making it physically impossible for the huge motherboard panel to fit the new office dimensions.

Chris Harrison didn’t want to do away with the huge motherboard project design so he cleverly adjusted three of the bigger sized circuit panels as wall adornments and the smallest one found its way underneath the glass of a coffee table. Hence, we can call this a twice-recycled piece of furniture. Each panel piece takes around 6 hours to finish as circuits of varying sizes are affixed together. The task has to be done with precision and therefore the whole assembly of motherboards should not look forced but should have a very fine texture and finishing – giving the old motherboards a new lease of life!
