Having vested us with oodles of green energy resources, nature asks us all to devise methods to make it usable. At the Gas Station of the Future contest, certain conceptual works bring these tangible ways closer to reality. The tree-shaped E.capsule is one such concept that seeks to replace gas stations with energy stations that can power a two-person vehicle with renewable energy.
Conceived by the designer Alex Dumler, the charging station generates rain, wind and sun power and stores it in E.capsule. The capsule can further be plugged in a vehicle that has dedicated spots for doing so. One E.capsule promises a 75-km clean ride.
