6. Order from your local CSA
If you are too lazy for the farmers’ market , have your local CSA program do the hard part for you by putting together a box of their best produce each week — and, if you’re really feeling lazy, have it delivered right to your door so you get fresh, local fruits and vegetables without giving up your lazy coffee-and-crossword mornings.
7. Go easy on the meat
Cut meat out of your diet for just two days a week and you will do yourself and the planet a big favour . Come up with meat-free meals for your weekends and double a recipe so that you can make extras to eat throughout the week .
8. ALWAYS unplug
If you are too lazy to do it yourself,then let energy-efficient gadgets do the work for you. There are power strips to turn off all your appliances at once; you can also get a timer so they automatically shut off at night; and use chargers that do not draw electricity when the device’s battery is full.
9. Sustainable power
Install solar panels, geothermal energy, etc for your home.Call your local energy company to find out if they have renewable energy options.
10. Replace your lightbulbs
Replace your lightbulbs with compact fluorescent lights which last longer than other bulbs and you will be cutting your energy use by as 80 percent.
