The eco effort

Using the Pterosail, a fifty-state street-legal recumbent trike combines wind power, cycling, solar and regenerative technologies. The green journey began in San Diego, California on 28June 2010 and took 46 days to complete. Enjoying the wind, thrill and excitement, John reached his final destination St. Augustine, Florida on 12 August. His eco-journey not only shows the world the power of renewable energy, but also encourages people to take up green practices.
This green trip was completed on a trike, which means not a single carbon emission was produces. It shows how wind and solar power can be useful.
