Installation made from colorful bottles leads to a display of fashionable public beauty

Argallios by Kollektivemind

If innovation is the key to great aesthetics, then Argallios by Kollektivemind has exceeded expectations. Rounding up children to create a masterpiece, a public, interactive session was undertaken in the little island of Crete.

“Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder” as the statement goes, has been proved right to a great extent, thanks to the Eco-friendly team of the 7th Primary School. With the aid of everyone around, right from the teachers, to the parents of the children and the citizens of Crete, a traditional pattern was created in the school yard. Woven right out of discarded plastic bottles, people were able to put together a mind blowing diamond pattern design with the bottles.

Coloring their raw material (bottles) in colorful traditional shades of Cretan woven fabrics, they were able to create a fence with these bottled materials. The diamond got another design under its belt with this innovative public masterpiece. Like the diamond, even Argallios will leave you stunned and knock the breath out of you. Who says that only the toughest rock can make women swoon with its glitter?

Installing the beautiful Eco-art as a part of p-public, the artist was able to recreate a woven magic so tender and pure, it left the onlookers baffled. Further, the installation shall be used for emerging professionals as a public space by the Architects Association of Chania.
