Peeping through that orb of green is a white beaming lamp that brings a lively workplace right to your writing table or the center table. Designed by artist Kara Bartelt for toHOLD Summer 2010 Design, the Live Lamp grows epiphytic plants without dirt, and relies on ultraviolet light, air and a little moisture. Some eighty live Fuschii v Gracillis tillandsia air plants clamp on the glassy surface of the lamp. A CFL grow lamp illuminates the glass orb internally.
