Disposable cups are meant to be disposed after being used, but the amount of waste paper that is collected due to this act cannot be overlooked. Accumulation of waste paper in landfills can lead to serious environmental issues. In order to solve the problem of paper waste accumulation, a group of six designers (Chengyuan Wei, Guanyun Wang, YeTao, Jianxing Cai, Chao Chen and Xuanxing Yang) has come up with an intelligent idea of recycling disposable cups. They have transformed these cups into pretty honeycomb wall lamps.
The beautiful lamp has a rare design, which is made by cutting the cups length-wise and pasting them together in a pattern that resembles fish scales. The lamp is in the shape of half eggs and looks unique and modern. The lighting element of the lamp is provided at its bottom and casts a soft gradated light that leaves you spell-bound.
What more can we ask from a lamp that makes our earth greener and healthier, and our house bright and charming?
