The Sun is not the only source that has been exploited this year. According to reports by Bloomberg New Energy Finance, the most widely used renewable source wind energy is responsible for providing power to 10 million homes in 2012, i.e. 6 percent of United States. Considering the economy, there has been a boost of 21 percent for price in wind power.

Ultimately, it comes down to how much we could curb down exhausting our already depleted renewable sources. The biggest satisfaction was almost 50 percent of energy sources have been contributed due to non-renewable sources, the highest until now. The stats clearly depict a substantial defeat of coal contributing only 36 percent energy which is a major decline compared to last year. The rest part has been due to natural gas usage. Clean Technology is going to be the next best thing, estimated to account for $426 billion revenue by 2022. If we follow these stats, we can conclude that we will proudly witness a clean energy revolution in the years to come.
