One of my friends told me that NiCad batteries have a âmemoryâ and should be completely discharged occasionally. I have tried discharging it by putting it in a torch for 24 hours and keeping the torch on but it was not discharged completely. So I want to ask people who can help me with my query. What is the best way of completely discharging NiCad batteries? Will discharging the NiCad batteries completely damage them? Please get back to me with relevant replies. Thanks.
