This is the first time that I am toying with solar power. I am going to build a PV panel with polycrystalline panels. It is going to have 36 panels at voltage of .5 and power of 1.5 watts per panel, charging 12 volt battery. I want help from those who are expert in this field about size of charge controller that would be required in this panel. What size charge controller would I need? Could anyone help me in sizing charge controller for solar power? I would really appreciate your useful information regarding this. Thanks.
