I have replaced the batteries in our combination smoke detector alarm this morning. It is also hardwired to electric. And now it chirps one time every half hour or so. The batteries were new and purchased this morning. Why is smoke detector alarm chirping every half an hour since I have replaced batteries? What can I do about it? Do I need to change the batteries again? I would really appreciate your useful replies pertaining to this. Thanks.
