One of the most iconic video games of this century, Pac Man, has made many of our nerves constrict with excitement and shot out blood pressure levels due to the high excitement and energy levels you require for playing the delightful videogame. Most of us would have outgrown our Pac Man days, but come to think of one or better still, see an image of Pac Man tastefully done or displayed anywhere, we are immediately thrown back to nostalgia mode. Here are seven Pac- Man designs made of recycled materials to ogle at:
1. Can Pac Man
This gigantic Pac Man created with cans was displayed in 2008 New York event run by Canstruction. Constructed by students, engineers and architects, the Pac Man depicted here is on an ever running race to catch the ghost and gobble it up. The cans collected for creating this hungry Pac Man was later passed on for charitable purposes. Try your own can Pac Man at home and come up with some interesting games with your kids.
2. Bread and Toast Pac Man
Another hungry Pac Man constructed with bread and toast, symbolic of hunger, this is a much easier version that the can Pac Man and can be tried by anyone. Use old pieces of toasted and plain bread for making this recycled bread Pac Man. The toasted bread pieces are arranged tastefully to form the rotund body of the Pac Man and the bread pieces have been arranged to form the eye and a gap at the eyeball to create the ultimate effect. Letâs hope that the hungry Pac Man will soon be on a running spree, swallowing all the bread pieces and getting into action.
3. Ring Pac Man
How about a cute Pac Man ring that makes you reminisce your old school and college days. Created by Annie Pilon, this handmade ring Pac Man is made of felt material and it has got a cute a fuzzy little eye to complete the picture. Wear it along with a matching earring or make your own Pac Man accessories for a change.
4. Pac Man Wall Hanging
A Pac Man wall hanging could be an ideal accent piece in a kidâs room. Take a look at this recycled Pac Man wall hanging created by Shawn Hampton in coloured wood.
