What is the problem with using an aftermarket battery, a Deka brand for my 2006 FLHTCUI. The techs keep telling me that the connectors on this battery are no good. I went and bought another of the same type, seeing as the last Deka lasted 3 yrs with no problems. But now when I turn my CD player radio on or off the dash panel warning lights come on and the Amp gauge on the dash shows that the system is only putting out 8-12 volts. I can’t believe that the connections on this battery are the problem. Is problem in my 2006 FLHTCUI due to connectors on my Deka battery? I have told them time and again about the radio situation and they seem to refuse to pull the fairing/dash panel and do an examination. Help me to resolve this situation.
