I want to use couple of 18650 protected lithium AA batteries to heat up small bit of nichrome wire. But I have also read that if you are not using them properly they might even explode. So I want help from people who are expert in these kind of things. Could someone tell me about the safest way to use lithium AA batteries under a very high load. I would really appreciate an early response from you guys. Thanks.
