Dubbed as Shotgun, the duplexes will include solar panels, water collectors, a geothermal system, tank less water heater and permeable pavements to promote sustainable living.
The frontage and interiors of duplexes promise to be extremely environmentally friendly as these employ non-off-gassing paints and finish materials. The high ceilings are supplied with high R-value windows for adequate ventilation. Neatly drawn blueprints of the construction suggest these apartment houses to be the junctures of traditional style and modern architecture. The gable roof with solar panels seems to be morphing into a flat roof, and the generous front porches provide ample space for family gatherings as well.
