After consuming your favorite soda you normally discard the emptied bottle. Right? Not US based designer Shaun Kasperbauer. Shaun’s Bubble Chandelier resembles a soap bubble and is designed using 2 liter soda bottles. The shadow cast by the chandelier resembles the cell-like shape that soap bubbles take. The materials used for this are soda bottles, screws and lighting components. Each chandelier uses sixty 2 liter plastic soda bottles and they are connected by hand via screws. The final outcome is an extraordinary chandelier, made of ordinary waste material. This chandelier will surely match with different modern and classy home interiors.
Apart from providing elegant illumination and classy ambiance, the Bubble Chandelier also does its bit to help save the environment by putting at least a few used PET bottles on the right track instead of landfills. No doubt, such eco-consciousness by modern day designers will give a fillip to the green brigade.
