You would think recycling is just related to plastic and newspapers but,Sebastian Jaramillo has managed to come up with an unique idea and give a new life to the bullet by reusing it as a piece of jewelery. The first thing that comes to your mind when speaking of bullets is war, bloodshed and death, however, this designer has worked towards changing this most common human perspective. His collection, “made by war, inspired by peace” uses bullets which were used in the armed conflict in Columbia and turns them into an amazing piece of jewelery This not only recycles ever diminishing metal but also saves a lot of money. Ususally metal casting requires expert tools, however, this designer does not even need to recast as the gold plating hides away the dents and marks.
This creative jewelery designer has taken the recycling concept to another level altogether. He uses stones like Amethyst, Garnets, Citrines and Perals among other stones and absolutely transform the bullets into attractive looking piece of art.All he does is uses gold plated bullets and designs them with the help of gem stones.
