With more than 90,000 people cheering the notable act at the Red Bull Flugtag Twin Cities today, the fully human-powered flying machine created by the team Major Trouble and the Dirty Dixies went on to beat the previous Red Bull Flugtag world record. The machine flew 207-foot to better the previous record of 195-foot, which was set in Austria in 2000.
The team, hailing from a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota, shaped the less than 30-foot wide and 450lbs flying machine, which was nimble enough to beat other 35 flying machines at the event.
