If you are an environment and art lover, then this one is just for you. Designers Park Jun Seok and Kwon Hye Rim have designed an innovative art piece that is inspired by a tree stump. Dubbed the “Green Ring,” the device with the main idea of lights and filters is made to keep a check on your environment, air pollution style.
The Green Ring is a tree-stump-shaped art piece that has a recycled plastic body. The device that would sit on your wall features waterborne paint, long-lasting LED lights, an indoor air pollution sensor and a kinetic energy pull-string mechanism shaped like a tiny tree branch. Not only does the device keep track of the amount of dirt in the air using the beautiful lights, but it also filters the air to a small extent, giving you a home with nice, clean air to breath. When the Green Ring starts to run out of juice, all you have to do is just pull on the branch until its lights power up again.
