French architect Sebastien Ramirez has created a greenhouse out of firewood beams, mixed hardwood for sale and reclaimed objects to satisfy his mother’s desire to have one in her garden. Initially, the designer wanted to use corrugated polycarbonate for his mini-project. However, since he didn’t have the requisite budget to do so, he utilized whatever he had at his disposal.
Mimicking a pupa to the fullest, the exquisite woodwork mixed with recycled windshield glass enabled him to construct the La Serre, or the greenhouse. The images below validate how a slight touch of ingenuity can capably overcome the lack of resources.
