Would you walk into a shop that looks the same for the past 50 years? Of course, not! With competition rising with each passing day, shopkeepers have to continuously try new and innovative ideas to allure customers. Out of the few interesting ways to attract customers, giving a new look to you store is something that appeals to me. This is exactly what a fashion boutique in Berlin has done to magnetize people. Named Bareck, this shop has come up with a smart way to change its look with the seasons. And how do they do this? Well, some stylish mobile racks are doing the trick for them.
Designed by design studio Ilot Ilov, these mobile racks are similar to food carts, but they are better looking. They are tall wooden racks that are movable, thanks to the wheels that the designer has included. Some of these feature just clothing rods, while the others include shelves as well. By simply positioning them differently, the fashion boutique has been able to achieve a different look altogether. Each cart has its own theme. While one is modeled after a droshky, another is inspired by an old Ford truck.
Baerck is known to bring a beautiful mix of Euro fashion labels and home products to Berlin’s design-minded set. It has used vintage-inspired furnishings to create a very contemporary space that looks aesthetically-appealing and simple at the same time. Apart from changing their stock every season, they also change the positioning of these racks. Hats off to the designer for bringing such a innovative idea to revamp this store that too in a cost efficient and eco-friendly way.
