Acer, a name that seduced the market with its stylish, sleek design last year, is back with its TimelineX series. Keeping up to the legacy of the super successful Acer Timeline series, the X enhances the efficiency without compromising on power and performance. Fully loaded with green features, the new models come equipped with the Intel processors, HD multimedia, dedicated graphics, Dolby Home Theater v3 audio, and advanced connectivity combined with more than 8 hours of battery life.

Amongst the green features that the Acer TimelineX includes are the backlit LED panels, combined with Intel Display Power Savings, cutting down on power consumption by 30%. Reducing the consumption by 40% and lowering operating temperature and noise is the new generation of hard disk being used. The new family of Intel Core processors optimizes efficiency automatically, while a revised cooling system uses low-energy fans to reduce battery consumption to a minimum.

The Acer PowerSmart technology not only extends the duration of the battery, but also consumes 66% less than the standard required by Energy Star, saving 1.752 watts per year. The black aluminum cover apart from adding to the aesthetics even gives it protection.
