By far this seems to be the greenest solution to sick building syndrome, a common malady caused by smelling or non-smelling airborne pollutants in old buildings. A German company called Blücher Technologies has the developed Saratech Permasorb wallpaper which absorbs pollutant particles from the air. The unique wallpaper made from glass fiber/polyester nonwoven paper is embedded with thousands of tiny spherical absorbers that branch out into passages.
