At the Farnborough International Airshow, aircraft manufacturer Airbus took the wraps off a concept plane that promises less fuel consumption, lower emissions and less noise when compared to others in business. The futuristic plane features ultra-long, slim bent-back wings, a U-shaped tail, a lightweight body and semi-embedded engines. Aiming to rule the skies when it is unveiled sometimes in 2030, the airplane will guarantee more comfortable, safer, and cleaner air transportation.

The plane will feature morphing seats made from ecological, self-cleaning materials. If we believe what Charles Champion, engineering executive vice-president at Airbus, has to say about the concept plane, some of the systems on this particular aircraft could be powered with fuel cells, solar panels and body heat. The company, in ‘The Future by Airbus’, also shed light on the morphing seats that are made from ecological, self-cleaning materials.

Since it’s a plane designed for the select elites, the lavish features include walls that become see-through at the touch of a button to offer 360-degree views of the world below and holographic projections of virtual decors. The private cabin could be transformed into an office, bedroom or Zen garden.
