If you think you have had enough of sculptures made from discarded auto parts, you should look at the awe-inspiring artwork pictured above that holds its own against the pack you have seen this far. Hundreds of different disused car parts will create the bizarre sculpture, which will warrant a fleeting look for sure. Dubbed as Concept Supercar, the sculpture will let you be aware of RoboSteel’s vision of a revolutionary car.
Smoothened and polished edges of discarded auto parts will be welded together. Later, several layers of lacquer will be applied to protect the car against bruises. The 500 kg vehicle takes its inspiration from South Indian temples and the Kirtimukha sculptures. RoboSteel will unveil the over 1 meter tall concept car at Earls Court, London, between 4 and 7 November 2010, and at the NEC, Birmingham between 11 and 14 November 2010.
