With technology taking a huge leap with each passing day, we can see our landfills getting flooded with e-waste. So isn’t the idea of diverting some obsolete electronics from landfills simply great? Italian artist Franco Recchia gives second life to computer scrap by converting them into urban landscapes. He creates amazing miniature cities by using components like heat sinks, RAMs, disk controllers, electronic connectors, chipsets, microprocessors and TV tuners.

His artful creations include “Manhattan 3,” a sculpture inspired by New York iconic skyline, “Fifth Avenue” made from heat sinks, “Metropolis,” “Pechino District,” a unique sculpture inspired by a futuristic city and “Urano,” a masterpieces that represents a city in space.
