For me paper art meant nothing more than making paper planes and boats, until I saw these intricate paper sculptures and paper cuts by Elsa Mora. The Cuban-born artist is well-known for transforming paper into beautiful, profound and creative paintings, cuttings, drawings and sculptures. Using just a sharp knife and a self-healing cutting mat, Mora manages to give paper texture and depth, making it almost three dimensional in intricacy. In case you feel these pictures are not enough to treat your eyes, check out more of her green artworks here.
