Father invented a high-density plastic bag and a dispensing rack in the late 1970s to help save the trees, now daughter pitches her own green bad solution. Gordon Dancy, popularized the disposable plastic bag in the USA, but his daughter has a slightly different idea to go green. Kristen Brown, a consultant for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is out with “My Eco” bag solution that comprises of reusable bags. Her four-bags-in-one system includes of four bags made using heavy-duty recycled plastic.

Since disposable plastic bags can linger hundreds of years in landfills and drift into waterways, so reusable bags are now gaining popularity with many eco-minded entrepreneurs. The plastic used in “My Eco” bag solution is non-porous and easy to clean with disinfectant wipes. It’s four bags folds into one and can hold $300 worth of groceries. The black colored smallest bag holds glass bottles and jars, while the blue colored medium one has an insulated liner for chilled and frozen goods. The large bag that comes in green color holds produce and the brown colored extra large is just perfect for other groceries.
