Remember all the tiny newspaper boats we played with in our childhood whenever it rained, but left all the fun behind along with the boat, when we entered adult hood. However the boat making passion accompanied Wang Luyao as he aged so that he entrusted its life size version to carry an environmental message. In an attempt to bring awareness about recycling and green living in general the young Chinese student built a paper boat to River Hanjiang. The 1.9 meter long and 1.2 meter wide paper boat that weighed 45 kg successfully covered a rowing distance of 800-meter distance in just seven minutes. Hence proving that boats made of recycled paper can really become part of an environment-friendly solution.
