Estudio Cinco is a modern and eco-friendly structure that was designed by T3arc (Mexican architects) as a gathering place for the local artists in Cuernacava City. This 430 square meter site is surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountains and volcanoes of Cuernacava, Mexico, forming an apt background for an artist’s work area.
With a humble budget of just â¬70,500 the T3arc designers took their inspiration from the natural bounty and pristine environment to covert a rustic area into an amazing studio. What is even more astonishing is the fact that all the raw materials utilized in the construction of this modern studio were either industrial waste or material found after excavating the site.
The Estudio Cinco has been made with a lot of thought and caret – there are five studios on the second floor and there is a gallery on the ground floor. A public cafe is also located on the ground floor that caters to the expenses needed to run the space. Estudio Cinco has large window frames to ensure that the artists get a complete and unrestricted view of the grand Popocateptl Volcano and the adjoining mountains. This studio is truly a remarkable example of creativity at its best where the artists would create innovative pieces in a natural studio amongst natural surroundings!
