Coming with as price tag of $85,000, the 538 square-foot home comprises of an open kitchen, living space, bedroom, and bathroom. It is delivered to the homeowner in the form of a kit of pre-cut parts that can be erected by a licensed contractor, thanks to the timberframe construction.
The accessory dwelling unit that is a hot property in present times is made using eco-friendly materials such as locally sourced and sustainably harvested Douglas Fir, low-VOC paints and finishes, and water efficient fixtures and components. If you wish to take green features a step further, there is provision for addition of solar systems, geothermal heat pumps, green roofs and rainwater collection.
FabCab have also added Kirei panels, Flor carpet tiles, Lutron lighting controls, Ramblewood cooktop, Raydoor sliding doors, bamboo flooring, Takagi on-demand hot water heater, Toto bathroom fixtures, Vetrazzo counters, and Yolo paints to enhance the aesthetics. The company gives you three options to choose from. The Small FabCabs from nearly 300-450 square feet, Medium FabCabs from about 450-600 square feet, and Large FabCabs from about 600+ square feet.
