Chicago’s exquisite location along the shoreline and its windy setting convene with a masterful, eco-friendly design work by DesignerFinger to bring a sustainably green building, dubbed as the Green Park, into being. The specific site tends to overlap the nautical borders between land and the huge lake zone.
The interactive structure will make the most of the change in wind conditions through windmills installed atop the building.
Pressure sensor will make wind visible via numerous LED lights that flicker as wind conditions fluctuate.
Dedicated PV panels will be there to harness the plethora of solar energy.
Waving surface creates a sort of aura or an enveloping racetrack for walkers and joggers.
The building will house a huge vertical farm that will utilize recycled resources and greenhouse methods such as hydroponics to produce fruit, vegetables, edible mushrooms and algae. Using mobile containers for growing green vertically, water could be reused and the yield will be pest- and disease-free.
