Since we all crave for some sort of respite from the polluted landscapes, gas-guzzling autos emanating from an uncaring attitude toward environment, designers Elisa Sayuri, Freitas Irokawa and Rafael Osmar de Oliveira e Costa ask us to see skywards for transportation, for power, and for hope. They have devised a train system that runs on electromagnetic induction and supports bus stops, related media and electronics like stoplights. For those who yearn for more, the system touts urban wind power and solar power generators to create its own energy.
While the sides and roofs of the train are made from transparent polycarbonate, the seats utilize the finest fabric that you call Corian. OLED panels, touch screen interfaces, Wi-Fi internet, headphone jacks, Bluetooth, and information boards promise it to be a high-tech experience. Implement it anywhere; tourists will love to peep through its diaphanous façade. What do you say?
