Guaranteeing more range and better performance, the solar-powered car concepts are on the rise. Project SOPHIE is one such prototype vehicle that can travel at a speed of 20 km/hr using solar energy as its main energy source. The car was designed and created by staff and students at IVE(TY). It’s a single-passenger vehicle that guzzles no emissions while it covers 40 km on a fully charged battery.
