The ledger paper sheets have had a glorious past of recording important accounting information, but with technology making a break-through, this material has become obsolete now. So, to give a new dimension to these waste sheets, Jill Sylvia creates astonishing replicas of famous buildings with them. The talented artist creates here fascinating replicas by cutting out the spaces where numbers are supposed to be using a drafting knife and then joins the paper to create intricate artworks. The ledger paper has already been shaped into the U.S. Capitol Building, the White House and the U.S. Treasury Building. Looking forward to see a few more jaw-dropping artworks from her…aren’t we, people?
