‘American Choppers,’ a show that features the custom-bike designers from Orange County Choppers in Montgomery, N.Y. became the stage for the unveiling of the new hybrid motorcycle by Lawless Industries yesterday. The one-of-a-kind motorcycle features two electric motors and a gasoline-powered engine, leaving the rider with a choice to opt for a silent, gas-free ride or one that’s high-performance and high-decibel.

Lawless Industries’ new hybrid muscle machine comes with four modes, two of which are electric only; another is a combination of gasoline-powered engine and an electric motor, while the last mode includes the use of all the engines together. One of the two electric only modes uses just one electric motor and produces 50 horsepower, or enough to go 60 mph, while the second uses two electric motors, making the count reach to 100 horsepower.

The third mode that alternates between using both a gasoline-powered engine and an electric motor works like a hybrid car. The bike is capable of traveling nearly 40 miles using battery power, so this mode is ideal for longer journeys. The last mode is what gives the bike it’s worth, it allows all the engines working together to produces 200 horsepower and a top speed of more than 100 mph.
