Meguru electric car (rickshaw rather) comes packed in with bamboo, paper

meguru electric car

Clad in red and running on Japanese roads, what you see above is an electric car that promises a zero-emission ride. Crafted in bamboo and paper, the three-wheeled Meguru is a joint venture of metalworking firm Yodogawa and blade maker Kinki Knives Industries. Its bamboo flooring seems to amalgamate with Japanese washi paper – made folding fan doors within a steel painted frame.

While it can cruise at top speed of 25 mph, you got to charge it after every 25 miles though. It won’t take more than two hours when tucked into a household power supply. After producing the vehicle on a massive scale, the firm won’t ask you to shell out more than $10,000 if you’re seriously planning to own one.
