The town of Waren, Muritz is known to attract many tourists from around the globe. To make the city more welcoming, a new visitor centre is being planned. The structure will incorporate walls that are made from wood elements, which are burnt to the appropriate charcoal level. The glass exterior allows ample of light in.
Exhibition themes like ice age, fauna, flora, mankind etc surround a central room to mesmerize the visitors. The lush green parks around with an older exhibition building and a natural walk around the small Lake Herrensee would leave anyone speechless. A small climb to the roof would take you to a platform that will give a complete view of the Lake Muritz. Germany’s largest freshwater aquarium housing in the structure will prove to be the greatest attraction.
