Imagine enjoying a green drive while graced with the super luxury and comfort of your electric vehicle. It sounds like a dream come true, but what if your batteries ditch you at a place where there is no charging station around? I am sure it’s nothing less than a nightmare. So, to bring a solution to the stranded e-motorists, a Swiss company Nation-E has recently introduced what is being called the world’s first mobile charging system.

Designed to offer recharging to stranded electric-vehicle drivers, the “Angel Car Mobile Service Unit” is a portable unit that comes equipped with a 230-volt charger that can juice up a vehicle in 15 minutes with enough power to go nearly 19 miles. The company claims that its roaming charging system can be installed on any service car or on a dedicated Angel Car.
