Not many of us can think differently. What is worthless, disposable scrap for us, is a valuable and useful substance for Paula Jenson. Paula, who excelled in fine art paintings using oil, acrylic, water color, colored pencil, pen etc., discovered her artistic talent in making out 3-D objects from metal by employing blacksmith’s forge techniques. In this article we shall be discussing the eagle sculpture ‘Re-estimate’, as she calls it.
For constructing this fine sculpture, Paula welded bits and pieces of metal that she assembled from thrown away and dumped metallic objects. It took about a year to give new life to the trash. Copper eyes were added to give it a vibrant finish. The sculpture stands 9 feet tall and six feet wide and can now be purchased for $20,000.
Who will not love to buy this marvelous piece of art which definitely adds to the beauty of your home? And let’s not forget that this elegant piece of art is made up of recycled metal, which makes it more interesting.
