A wedding gown is something that holds a very special placein every brides life. So, heres a gown that every bride would wish to wear onher big day. Designed by a student from Maryland Institute College of Art, thisgown is fashioned from white reclaimed cotton. What makes it stand above theothers is that comes loaded with LED lights and heat sensors. Matthew Readinghas designed this outfit dress for the Wash and Wear Electronics course offeredby the college.

Featuring a simple bodice and a fuller lace skirt, the dressalso includes sensors that respond to light and temperature. To complete thelook, Reading has also included an optional shawl, as well as an oversizecollar that flaps up and down. The gown is a perfect marriage of dazzlinglights, movable parts and recycled fabric. Its commendable how well this youngstudent has blended LilyPad Arduino microcontroller, conductive embroiderythread, LED lights, and servo motors.
