The bar gets raised higher and higher and there seems no end to the kind of art that can be created from the most useless things around us. How many of us would think out of the box to produce a piece of art from let’s say a scrappy washing machine drum gathering rust in your attic. None I guess. However an artist’s eye spotted a bright lamp in it. This most fortunate drum barrel caught the sight of Designer Alex Kovatchev who transformed it into a brilliant ‘wash lamp’ which illuminates the surrounding through its perforated frame. All three are glittering treasures!
