Skye has an interesting electric on-demand hot water heater unit. The device is small enough to fit under a kitchen sink and is named the paradigm. The Paradigm applies a technology they call Heat Surround. It’s a way of heating water by passing it through the heating element rather than immersing the element in the water. As a result, the unit produces about 24,500 BTUs of heating power, and can raise water temperature by 40 degrees at a 1.2 gpm flow rate. In other words, it can supply endless hot water for a shower or dishwasher or washing machine, no matter what the rate of consumption.
Due to this fast rate of heating, people can save endless amounts of electricity that they wasted upon it.
