Solatube has brought out their all new product, the Smart LED. The product is a novel innovation which cuts down on electricity consumption by as much as 94% from the conventional lighting solutions such as CFL’s and so on. Due to the usage of LED’s which consume much less energy, the consumption of electricity is cut down so significantly.
However, the actual magic lies in the design of the Smart LED. It is called “Smart” due to the fact that it has a sensor , a control center which continuously assesses the amount of sunlight and accordingly regulates the brightness of the LED. Thus, during the day, the product will direct the sunlight from above into the room and during the night it will light up the LED light.
