19 year old James Tuchel has developed Grand Bahamas’ very first water powered hybrid car as part of his summer apprenticeship with McGibbons Auto using locally available components. James uses a 1997 Hyundai Elantra’s gasoline engine and alters it to use the elements HHO and oxygen in drinking water.
The technology uses 12V electrical energy from the vehicle battery to separate drinking water into hydrogen and oxygen. The hydrogen taken from the water is combined with the gasoline to boost the internal combustion process thereby dramatically improving fuel economy by 30 percent while significantly reducing exhaust emissions too. A vehicle purely running on water without any gasoline also lay in the pipe line.
