Maybe the Kickstarter community has found that her natural cottage project has enough potential and it can be used as the blueprint of many other natural green cottages for people to live in.

Traditional homes emit huge amount of Green House Gases like methane and Carbon dioxide into the atmosphere regularly. They use heating and cooling systems along with several different home appliances that waste both energy and water. Such conventional homes can ruin the balance of the natural surroundings.
There are many factors associated with conventional constructions that directly and indirectly harm our local environment. Stacey’s natural cottage has been made in such a way that it promotes sustainable lifestyle and reduces both direct and indirect environmental pollution. She has implemented lot of low cost changes, which can make the natural cottage homes more environments friendly.
Stacey has installed poles made of timber and earthen floorings for making the cottages comfortable and chic. For four months, she learnt how to build sustainable homes or cottages with basic and essential materials. Mycelium insulation and light straw clay insulation are done using clever eco-friendly construction techniques. Basic materials like wood, mud and straw can be used for making a modern and comfortable abode.
The other materials she used for making the natural cottage are cordwood, living moss roof, earthy sculptures and salvaged windows. For making a building sustainable, we must be responsible about the methods employed to harvest the materials. Stacey is trying to find better ways of harvesting construction materials in the most eco-friendly manner.
Natural homes do not disrupt the surrounding environments but integrate with the natural elements. People who live in the cottages designed by Stacey will be able to live a greener lifestyle and cut down their carbon emissions. Stacey acknowledges that she is not a professional but her hard work and true passion for eco-friendly building techniques will help her complete the project by the month of October this year.
