In present times, e-waste is one of the biggest threats to Mother Nature and mankind. Improper processing of this harmful waste has caused severe health and pollution problems in most of the developing nations. We must take some decisive steps to prevent e-scrap from ruining our precious environment. One of the best ways to bring a stop to the harm caused by them to the environment is to recycle and reuse them. Recycling and reusing not only helps to make one-of-a-kind creations, but also diverts waste from landfill and gives them second life. One such eco initiative has been taken by BRC Designs, a modern furniture studio that melds timeless and unconventional materials into unique yet simple furniture designs.

BRC Designs has crafted an exquisite coffee table from old computer parts that would otherwise go into landfills. Flaunting stylish looks and contemporary design, the “Binary Low Table” is a result of creativity and zeal to do something for the depleting environment. This beautiful piece is handcrafted by a small team of skilled craftsmen under the close artistic direction of Benjamin Rollins Caldwell. Inspired by pallets of obsolete computers and electronics that were collecting dust in a local warehouse, the table gives new life to waste. The frame of the table is made from the metal from computer towers that are riveted together and bent to the proper form. Old computer parts like motherboards, computer chips, LED screens and hard drive disks come together to make the table. Finally, it was completed by placing a salvaged glass.
