After his unusual six years journey of playing with cars, Buzz Knapp-Fisher has finally come up with something extraordinary. The renowned sculptor and environmentalist has put together 21 different cars parts to craft an eco-friendly truck. Dubbed the “Womble Truck”, the green vehicle includes parts from cars like a Sixties Morris 1000, Seventies Mini, a Ford, a Reliant Robin, an MG Midget, a Vauxhall Viva and a Volvo 740. Buzz bought the Womble Truck as a wreck some six years ago and modified it into an almost carbon-free mode of transport.

Inspired by TV characters ‘The Wombles’, who collected and recycled rubbish in ingenious ways, Buzz named his eco car after him. The cheap and modest adjustments made to the car include a biodiesel engine that replaces the large petrol engine. This new engine runs on chips fat and vegetable oil. The vehicle that is said to be lighter than a Volvo can reach up to a speed of 80 mph by using the third gear. In case Buzz wishes to hit the top speed of 110 mph, he has to take help from the filters. The environmentalist wishes to offer some more to the environment, so he has started working on an electric vehicle. He also plans to have a hydrogen car.
