An aerodynamic van which is a little bit wider than its Volkswagen predecessor can reach to a top speed of 145kph. But the features for which it is gaining popularity are its solar panel roof to charge its battery. Even though its battery can be charged at any 240V station, its solar panel helps in charging up its battery. Just eight hours of charging with the help of its solar panel can provide 24 hours of use. This eco-friendly electric camper which gives off ‘zero-emissions’ can be boarded via a convenient stairway that folds up in to the ceiling.

Living in of these houses would be like waking up to Easter every morning. These houses are of 70-square-meter (that’s approximately 750 square feet) living spaces that are constructed primarily out of a composite material using car tires and wood waste. These Egg Houses are egg-shaped on purpose, as the ‘nature-inspired’ form contributes to energy efficiency. The whimsical shape of the house and the M&M color scheme used in drawings make the houses seem like they would be more appropriate at a children’s playground than in a neighborhood. These Egg Houses will use a combination of wind turbines and solar photovoltaics to be 70% more efficient in their energy usage than conventionally constructed homes. The house will have a gas boiler in addition to the alternative energy sources. According to their designers, these Egg Houses are also earthquake resistant. While from the outside the house is egg-shaped, the inside is that of an energy-saving insulation barrier membrane. The two-story living quarters which is a 10-sided polygon has an installed gray water system which will recycle waste and rain water.

Though it is mainly inspired by irregular organic forms, there are some aspects which draw inspiration from the science fiction movies as well. The automobile is environmental friendly as it runs on an electric engine in the rear central part, which also results in a massive storage space. Instead of the rear view mirrors as in the case of normal cars, it has a wide screen monitor, which is linked to a camera. It is designed to be modifiable so that it can be customized as per the customer’s requirements and tastes.
