Taking a cue from this very belief, many a designer have created and brought out unique, inspiring and jaw dropping, âState-of-the-Artâ, contemporary innovative designs to pamper the future world. The great thing about them is that these unique, inspiring and jaw dropping, âState-of-the-Artâ, contemporary innovative designs are eco friendly i.e. they have been created and designed keeping in mind the fragile state of the Earth, one that is in harmony with nature.
1. Eco-friendly futuristic fold-out camper van:
Created and designed by NAU; the Company which created the âSwiss Army Knifeâ, this camper van named âECCOâ which will hit the market in the early 2014s, has been inspired by the shape of an egg. This eco-friendly electric camper van, which is 4.62 meters long, can accommodate up to five people and sports a quaint little kitchen along with a bathroom and a lounge area. An aerodynamic van which is a little bit wider than its Volkswagen predecessor can reach to a top speed of 145kph. But the features for which it is gaining popularity are its solar panel roof to charge its battery. Even though its battery can be charged at any 240V station, its solar panel helps in charging up its battery. Just eight hours of charging with the help of its solar panel can provide 24 hours of use. This eco-friendly electric camper which gives off âzero-emissionsâ can be boarded via a convenient stairway that folds up in to the ceiling.
2. Egg bowl with shell bowl:
This is truly a revolution in the world of cooking. A boon for all the egg lovers out there, the egg bowl with a shell bowl is a concept that also allows interaction to happen between the user and the preparation of eggs. The egg bowl which is made out of porcelain has a beveled edge that helps in cracking the egg. This unit which can be used as an office, a garden-house or whatever we want holds all necessary items one could possibly need such as bathroom, kitchen, lighting, sleeping space and several niches for storage. In addition to this, the nose can be opened automatically and can function as a porch. While being closed, it blends into a complete smooth blob. The most exciting thing about this unit is that it can be moved to any place. Now, our outdoor lives will be more convenient and offer homely comfort.

The âGentooâ concept car takes its form inspiration from the âGentooâ the penguin, a cute and lovely and environmentally friendly little thing. This car is cute and really nice to look at, and is also in harmony with the environment. The Gentoo car uses no fossil fuels at all but uses self-balancing technology and is powered by lithium battery technology.

Eggsaustedâ¦.Are you? Then recline on the Lomme. It brings all that pleasure and comfort one wants from a stylish modern design. Just as the egg symbolizes birth, warmth, shelter, sustenance, and a twilight state, the egg-shaped bed created and designed by Günther ThönyâsThony Projekt, an ambitious piece redifines the definition of sleep. With the egg-shape and the appealing metaphoric connotations therein, Thony has infused Lomme with all the right ingredients for a rejuvenated sleep. Created and designed by Roberto Casati and a group of Tuscan engineers, this Egg House aka âKasaUovoâ is pre-fabricated and modular. Living in of these houses would be like waking up to Easter every morning. These houses are of 70-square-meter (that’s approximately 750 square feet) living spaces that are constructed primarily out of a composite material using car tires and wood waste. These Egg Houses are egg-shaped on purpose, as the ‘nature-inspired’ form contributes to energy efficiency. The whimsical shape of the house and the M&M color scheme used in drawings make the houses seem like they would be more appropriate at a children’s playground than in a neighborhood. These Egg Houses will use a combination of wind turbines and solar photovoltaics to be 70% more efficient in their energy usage than conventionally constructed homes. The house will have a gas boiler in addition to the alternative energy sources. According to their designers, these Egg Houses are also earthquake resistant. While from the outside the house is egg-shaped, the inside is that of an energy-saving insulation barrier membrane. The two-story living quarters which is a 10-sided polygon has an installed gray water system which will recycle waste and rain water.
14. Mitsubishi EGG Concept hybrid roadster:
Manufactured by Mitsubishi, the EGG concept hybrid roaster sure is a stunner. It is the GEN-X car. It combines the retro with the modern. Though it is mainly inspired by irregular organic forms, there are some aspects which draw inspiration from the science fiction movies as well. Though it is complex in shape, easy functionality is its highlight. The automobile is environmental friendly as it runs on an electric engine in the rear central part, which also results in a massive storage space. Instead of the rear view mirrors as in the case of normal cars, it has a wide screen monitor, which is linked to a camera. It is designed to be modifiable so that it can be customized as per the customerâs requirements and tastes.
15. Egg-citing pendant necklace:
Egg-citing and Eggs-quisite!!! It is truly a unique pendant necklace and to top it off, an eco friendly jewelry product made from rainforest tagua nut, aka vegetable ivory.
